This picture was taken last May 13, 2011 at San Antonio Integrated Farmers Multi-purpose Cooperative,R.T.R,AdN. It was attended by the BOD and its members of the Cooperative,MAO and AT’s,SB Pabillore. Through the effort of Our Municipal Mayor Hon. Nilo D. Soliva and the support of our SB Francisco Pabillore and most especially our Municipal Agriculturist and her staff, this project of livelihood of carabao dispersal to farmers would not be possible and successful without them.
The Office of Agriculture turnover to the San Antonio Cooperative to handle the said project for they have the lowest bidding price of carabao as well as to help farmers in the upland barangay transport their vegetables, abaca and other crops to the market as their means of transportation.
The Office of Agriculture dispersed 9 carabao to the said cooperative and the terms of payment is 2 years payable with 10 percent interest annually. Each carabao cost ranges from P20,000 – 25,000.The chosen farmer will ensured his carabao and life insurance yearly.
